Microsoft's PerformancePoint Server 2007 CTP2 was released on April 4, 2007 on the Microsoft Connect Site. The new release includes updates to PerformancePoint Planning and PerformancePoint Monitoring.
If you want to try out the latest release go to the Microsoft Connect Site and sign up for the Community Technology Preview (CTP) today. Access to the site allows you to download the following beta software:
PerformancePoint Planning 2007
- PerformancePoint Planning Server
- PerformancePoint Business Modeler
- PerformancePoint Excel Addin
- PerformancePoint Server Data Import Wizard for Microsoft Dynamics AX
PerformancePoint Monitoring 2007
- PerformancePoint Monitoring Server
- PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer
The site also provides the necessary documentation for deploying and designing PerformancePoint Applications. The CTP (beta) release allows you to test the new software and provide feedback to Microsoft about bugs and features or enhancements you would like to see in the product.

Last week I just installed the CTP2 release on a virtual machine (Virtual Server 2005 R2) and I am currently testing out the new features available in this release.
